This page is meant for contributors of the wiki for non-profit "Vélo solaire pour tous" (solar bike for everyone)

Before you begin

To obtain the rights to modify the wiki, you must become a member of the non-profit. You will then receive your password to log into our collaboration platform Nextcloud, which allows you to discuss with other members. The same identifiers allow you to log into the wiki, to create and edit pages.

Page categories

Each page can have multiple categories (or just one, or none at all). This makes it easier to manage the pages, for example it allows to list all pages of a category. To assign a category to a page, for example the category Liste de vhéliotechs", you can add this tag in the page wikicode:

[[Category:Liste de vhéliotechs]]

If the category does not exist, it will be created. It is recommended to consult the list of existing categories before creating a new one.

Each category also has a special page which allows to describe the category itself.

Publishing pages

Pages are, by default, masked to non-members. For a page to be visible to anyone, it must be added to category "Public". To do this, add this line in the wikicode:

[[Category:Public]]

This is only meant for pages in ths main namespace (for example, pages prefixed with "Aide:" are always public)

Mark remaining work to do

If you have started redacting a page but haven't finished, you can add this tag in the wikicode:

This allows to list all pages that are not finished (see useful links below)

On smartphone, there is no button to edit the welcome page. But it's still possible to edit it with this link: [1]
